No Place Like Home

This week at job-job I’ve been working on a new film for the kiddies. We’re focusing on Homes. Unfortunately I have learned little this week. I was actually kind of up to speed on the available options out on the market. My editor accidentally misspelled this on my planner. Instead my schedule read ‘Holmes’. I’m still nursing my disappointment at not making a flick focusing on mystery, intrigue, cocaine and a certain “dear fellow”. However, there were some cozy drawings involved. Here’s a sneak peek at my favorites.

Sometimes homes are made out of stone:

Sometimes homes are made out of straw.

Sometimes homes have only one room:

And some homes have lots of rooms:

Sometimes homes are on wheels:

Sometimes they are on stilts:

Sometimes they are on the water!

We also touched on communities. You know the drill, location, location, location.

  1. Ok…I totally want to live in the adorable stone cottage in the woods. Or maybe the cool beach shack. I heart them. But actually the wood one looks almost exactly like our house…even the color is right! Sorry about the lack of mystery and intrigue but you managed to create some really cute houses through your veil of sadness and disappointment.

#onlyinnyc Reuniting my husband with this one million year-old pup was a highlight on our banner blink-and-you'll miss it trip home. Brooklyn, we'll miss you forever. Thanks @kymberella281 & @peckelmann you made this guy's weekend. Today has been crap, but now it is beautiful. #gofigure Kisses!
love,
Nature My husband is the dreamiest. I'm pretty limited in what I can eat these days. We've sidelined dairy, gluten and legumes to help with my auto-immune diseases. There was something particularly tempting while we were in Park City this weekend. It boasted its delicious lime salt loudly. Alas, it wasn't anything I could eat. I lamented and went GF/DF etcF, and then quickly forgot about it. As with most things that cause me fleeting disappointment, Matt remembered. Last night when I got home from the studio, I found this little bottle waiting for me on the counter. He made it himself. #limesalt #love #chefwifelife Dragon swimming in a bathtub. We adopted this dishy-fishy in Mexico during the #happilyeveralvarez wedding week of dreams. There are few worldly possessions that bring me as much joy.
